StepLeader Developing Opportunities in Mobile and Smart TV Markets, Spinning-Off from CBC New Media Group

StepLeader announced today that it recently closed one of its best quarters to date, adding six new projects awarded from four new and two existing broadcast partners to its development pipeline. In addition, StepLeader also announced that it is spinning-off from parent company CBC New Media Group in support of new opportunities for expansion in the mobile and Smart TV space.

According to CEO Brian Handly, as a stand-alone company, StepLeader will be better positioned strategically to support the growing needs of partners, including innovations in the mobile and Smart TV app markets.
