PHP Developer
The PHP Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding enterprise applications that distribute content such as text, images and video over the Internet to mobile web sites, mobile applications andmInternet connected televisions utilizing PHP, JSON, JavaScript and the
Yahoo Widget Engine.
This position requires a strong level of technical expertise regarding
object-oriented PHP and object-oriented JavaScript combined with excellent
planning, coordination and communication skills. The PHP Developer will
follow standard development procedures and processes to achieve stated
business goals. This position will require the development of internal and
external publishing tools for use with a custom content management system.
StepLeader publishes news, video, weather and other information on
multiple platforms across several product lines for more than 300 media
partners. This position will work closely with our partners and the
technology team to create robust applications that meet business
requirements within stated timeframes.
Must be proficient in JavaScript, JSON, PHP, Subversion, Unix, AJAX,
HTML5, CSS3, XML, Apache & MySQL.
Participation in an after-hours, on-call pager rotation is required.
